𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀 | The hub for all your storytelling needs

Space is where you plan, visualize and modify your content for your social media. It is a hub where you can import and store your content for easier access and planning.

  1. Upon logging onto your dashboard, you can create a new grid space by clicking on the “⊞” button which can be found easily whether you are using mobile or desktop. When you click the “v” button in the upper-left corner, a small dialog box will pop up allowing you to create a "space".

Click on the “Upload Content” button, and you will be directed to choose the photos that you want to publish on your Instagram.

  1. The photos you selected will appear on your grid space.

  2. You can drag your photos to arrange them exactly as you want them to appear in your feed.

  3. You can further edit your content using UNUM Editor.

  4. When everything’s ready, post your finalized grid space to Instagram using the export button.

PRO TIP: Use UNUM's Color Map tool to identify the main colors of your feed then you can move around photos accordingly. This will help you match up photos based on color to make your feed more cohesive.

𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗠𝗮𝗽 | Visualize color schemes

Use the color map tool to visualize the colors and hues showcased on your feed. To access, tap on the color map icon on the bottom of your screen. To exit this feature, tap on the icon again.

This tool shows you the average color, then you can move around photos accordingly. This will help you match up photos based on color to make your feed more cohesive.

  • Click the "color map" icon.

  • Click and hold the post you want to move

  • Drag it to the new position

  • Drop it

𝗖𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 | Plan your thoughtful captions

Thoughtful captions are key when telling your story online. Use UNUM’s caption pen to craft your message in advance and create clear messaging to support your visual content. Select an image and this will open the draft mode for both a caption as well as potential tags you wish to include in your post.

𝗖𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲 | Work smart, save time

If you want to stand out in the online content scene, efficiency is key. The Clone feature allows users to copy or “clone” a space into your Personal Dashboard or share it with teams and /or clients in a Team Dashboard. The goal is to have an easy and seamless creating process in your cloned workspace and be able to reuse them for future posts, thereby saving you the time and stress in establishing brand consistency.

Here's a step-by-step guide on how you can clone your workspace.

  1. Start with selecting the space you want to use for your grid, from there, click on the “CLONE” icon beside your space, once you tap that, you can select the workspace the cloned space will appear in.

  1. To view and edit your cloned space, tap the “view it now” link or go to your Space Navigation bar, tap the downward arrow and select the workspace where you cloned your space.

  1. You can rename the new space by clicking on the three-dot menu on the upper right corner of your screen.

Note: Duplicating your selected space will create a new copy and your original space will remain unchanged. If you don't need the Space anymore, you can delete it, you can find delete from the same settings section.

Creating a carousel post (Album)

A Carousel is a slideshow comprised of photos, videos, or both photos and videos that users can manually control by either swiping on the app.

To create an album with content already in your grid space, simply tap on however many grids you would like to add and tap on the carousel icon on right side of your screen.

This will add all photos into a single folder.

You can then drag and drop the content in whichever way you like!

All About Hashtags

Your posts that include stand out captions and #hashtags will drive stronger post engagement. Finding and discovering unique hashtags used to be very time-consuming. But, not anymore. Using AI, UNUM's magic hashtag tool analyzes your photo or video and/or the initial caption you wrote and then it recommends unique #hashtags to use.

Here's how to use the Magic Hashtag:

1. Select a post you want to have hashtags (or caption).

2. The Post Detail toolbar will show up on the right side.

3. Click on the Caption field.

  • You can either leave the caption field blank and the Magic Hashtag tool will base it on the photo

  • Or you can add a few words as supplementary details for the Magic Hashtag tool.

  1. Tap the "Magic Hashtags" and wait for the AI-generated hashtags.

Note: The resulting hashtags are already pre-selected. All of them will be included in your caption once you click "Add." If you see some hashtags that are not suited, you can click on them to be excluded.

𝗚𝗿𝗶𝗱 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁 | Realign & Reimagine

Grid shift helps you visualize your feed in multiple ways without having to manually move any content yourself. To enable grid shift, tap on the “shift” icon at the bottom of your screen. This will shift your entire grid to the right one grid space.

𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 | Quick switch your content

Use the swap feature to quickly swap two images on your grid. To begin, tap on the two images you would like to swap. Then click on the “swap” button on the bottom of your screen; this will automatically swap the two photos you have selected.

Bulk swap | Quick switch multiple photos at once. The bulk swap feature is intended to easily swap multiple content spaces on your grid. Like the swap feature, begin by tapping on the various images you would like to swap. Then click on the “swap” button on the bottom of your screen; this will automatically swap the photos you have selected in a clockwise rotation.
