# Auto-Posting + Token Issues

**Having trouble auto-posting or seeing token expired errors? Here's how to fix it and what you can schedule with UNUM.**

#### ✅ What can I auto-post with UNUM?

You can auto-post directly to:

* **Instagram Feed**
* **Instagram Reels**
* **Instagram Stories**
* **Instagram Threads**
* **YouTube Shorts**
* **Pinterest**
* **Facebook**
* **TikTok**
* **Twitter (X)**
* **LinkedIn**

Just upload your content, schedule it, and we’ll take care of the rest.

#### ⚠️ Why is auto-post not working?

The most common reason is:

> **Your Instagram or TikTok isn't a Business account connected to a Facebook Page.**

As of December 2024, Meta and other platforms require stricter permissions to allow auto-posting. To auto-post, make sure:

* Your **Instagram** is set to a **Business** account
* It's connected to a **Facebook Page**
* You've **approved posting permissions** during social setup

#### 🔁 How to fix token issues

Tokens expire due to:

* Password changes
* Meta/TikTok security resets
* Revoked app permissions

Here’s how to reconnect:

1. Click the **Socials** icon in your UNUM sidebar
2. Look for channels marked **Token Expired**
3. Click `...` > **Refresh**
4. Follow the steps to log in and reauthorize

Once reconnected, your scheduled posts will resume.

#### 👀 What happens if I don’t reconnect?

Posts to that social channel will **fail to publish**. You’ll see a warning and any upcoming auto-posts will pause until you reauthorize.

**Can I auto-post to TikTok and YouTube Shorts?**\
Yes — TikTok (Business accounts only) and YouTube Shorts are fully supported.

**Can I auto-post Stories and Reels?**\
Yes! UNUM supports direct auto-posting for Instagram **Stories**, **Reels**, and **Feed** posts.

**Can I auto-post to Threads and LinkedIn?**\
Yes, both Threads and LinkedIn are supported — just connect the channels from your Socials dashboard.

**Why does this keep happening?**\
Most often it’s due to platform-side resets (Meta, TikTok, etc.). Reconnecting your token usually fixes it in seconds.
