# Roles, Permissions & Team Management

UNUM makes it easy to collaborate with your team across multiple brands, clients, or campaigns. Here’s everything you need to know about how roles work, what each team member can do, and how to manage your workspace access.

***

#### ✅ Roles in UNUM

There are two core roles inside a UNUM workspace:

**Owner**

* Full control over the workspace
* Can invite/remove members
* Can update billing and subscription settings
* Can delete the workspace
* Has access to all content, channels, and media

**Editor**

* Can create, edit, and schedule content
* Can access the Studio, Channels, BioBar, UNUM AI, and more!
* Can view analytics and manage posts
* Cannot invite/remove members or change billing

> 🔒 Only **Owners** can invite or remove teammates and update your plan.

#### ➕ Inviting Your Team

To invite someone to your workspace:

1. Click on **Members** in your workspace sidebar
2. Hit **Invite** and enter their email address
3. Your teammate will receive an invite via email
   * If they don’t have a UNUM account yet, they’ll be prompted to create one
   * If they already have an account, they’ll be added instantly to your workspace

> Note: The person invited will **not** count toward your personal plan limits unless you are the workspace Owner.

#### 🔄 Switching Between Workspaces

Each user can be part of multiple workspaces — great for managing personal content, agency clients, or brand teams.

To switch between workspaces:

* See your **profile avatar** in the bottom-left corner
* Select the workspace you want to jump into

#### 🧾 What About Billing & Access?

* If you’re on a **free plan**, you’ll only have access to free features in your personal workspace
* If you’re invited to a **Teams plan**, you’ll get access to **all paid features** inside that shared workspace (even if your personal workspace is free)
* Only **Owners** can upgrade or downgrade a workspace’s subscription

> 💡 You can view all workspaces you're a part of under **Settings → Account Settings → Workspaces**
