💡 Note: Instagram requires a Business or Creator account for auto-posting. Personal accounts can use "Remind Me" scheduling.

How to Connect a Channel

On Web

Go to Channels

Click + New Channel in the left sidebar

Press channels, and select your desired social channel you want to connect

Select your platform

Log in and authorize UNUM

5

Your channel appears in the sidebar — ready to go!

On iOS Tab

Platform-Specific Notes

Instagram

Instagram requires a Business or Creator account connected to a Facebook Page.

To switch to Business/Creator:

1. Open Instagram → Settings → Account

2. Tap "Switch to Professional Account"

3. Choose Business or Creator

4. Connect to your Facebook Page

TikTok

TikTok connections need to be reauthorized every 60 days due to TikTok's API. We'll notify you when it's time to reconnect.

Facebook

You must be an admin of the Facebook Page you want to connect.

LinkedIn

Connect your personal profile or a Company Page you manage (requires admin access).

X (Twitter)

Connect your X account for scheduling tweets and threads.

Threads

Connect through your Instagram account — Threads uses the same login.

Mastodon & Bluesky

Connect your account from any instance/server. You'll need your full handle (e.g., @[e-mail]).

Managing Connected Channels

Disconnect or Reconnect a Channel

On Web:

1. Go to Setting (top right)

2. Click "account settings"

3. Select Manage Channels (under Workspace)

4. ⠇Select Reconnect

On iOS:

1. Tap Channels → ... icon

2. Delete Channel

Troubleshooting

Problem	Solution
"Connection expired"	Disconnect and reconnect the channel
Can't see Facebook Page	Make sure you're an admin of the page
Instagram not working	Confirm it's a Business/Creator account linked to Facebook
TikTok stopped working	Reauthorize (required every 60 days)
