# Using the Visual Calendar

The Calendar is your overview of everything scheduled across UNUM. It's connected to your Channels, Insights, and Studio — so anything you schedule shows up here automatically.

{% endtabs %}

> ✨ **Pro tip:** Zoom out to Month view to see your overall posting rhythm. Aim for consistency!

* **Empty days** — no content planned
* **Light weeks** — fewer posts than usual
* **Unbalanced platforms** — all Instagram, no TikTok

Use the calendar to find holes in your posting schedule

### How Calendar Works

Think of Calendar as your **command center**:

* Schedule posts in **Channels** → they appear in Calendar
* Schedule posts in **Calendar** → they appear in Calendar
* Schedule posts in **Studio** → they appear in Calendar
* Everything stays in sync

You can either plan everything in Channels and use Calendar as your overview, or schedule directly in Calendar — whatever works for your workflow.

### Calendar Views

Switch between time views:

| View        | Best for                  |
| ----------- | ------------------------- |
| **Weekly** | See your week at a glance |
| **Monthly** | Big picture overview      |

***

### Filtering Your Calendar

#### View All Channels

By default, Calendar shows posts from **all connected channels** — see everything in one place.

#### Filter by Platform

Want to see just one platform? Filter to view only:

* Instagram posts
* TikTok posts
* Facebook posts
* Or any other connected channel

> ✨ **Pro tip:** Filter by platform when you want to check your posting frequency for a specific channel.

***

### What You'll See

Each post on the calendar shows:

* **Thumbnail** — preview of the image/video
* **Time** — when it's scheduled
* **Platform icon** — which channel
* **Status** — scheduled, published, or remind me

#### Status Indicators

| Status           | Meaning                       |
| ---------------- | ----------------------------- |
| 🟢 **Published** | Already posted                |
| 🔵 **Scheduled** | Set to auto-post              |
| 🟡 **Remind Me** | You'll post manually          |
| 🔴 **Failed**    | Didn't post — needs attention |

### Scheduling from Calendar

You can create posts directly in Calendar:

1. Create your post
2. Choose your channel and schedule

The post now appears in both Calendar and your Channel.

### Calendar + Channels + Studio

Everything is connected:

| Where you schedule | Where it shows up |
| --------------------- | ----------------------- |
| Channels              | Calendar ✓              |
| Calendar              | Channels ✓              |
| Studio (to a channel) | Calendar ✓ + Channels ✓ |

Your content lives in one place and syncs everywhere.
