# Schedule & Auto-Post

### Auto-Post vs Remind Me

UNUM offers two ways to schedule:

| Type          | What happens                                        |
| ------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| **Auto-Post** | UNUM publishes automatically at your scheduled time |
| **Remind Me** | UNUM sends you a notification — you post manually   |

#### Which platforms support Auto-Post?

> 💡 **Note:** Instagram Personal accounts can't auto-post due to Instagram's API restrictions. Switch to a Business or Creator account for auto-posting.

### How to Schedule a Post in Calendar

#### On Web

1. Select Date you want to schedule post&#x20;
2. Upload your media
3. Select your channels you want to post on&#x20;
4. Select next
5. Add your unique captions, hashtags and tags for each channel&#x20;
6. Click schedule, select time and date you want to post&#x20;
7. Click **Schedule post (this applies to all your channels)**
8. Done! ✅

#### On iOS

1. Create your post in the **Post Editor**
2. Add media and caption
3. Tap **Schedule post**
4. Select date and time
5. Choose Auto-post or Remind me
6. Confirm ✅

### Scheduling Options

#### Pick a Specific Time

Choose the exact date and time you want your post to go live.

#### Best Time to Post (Coming Soon)

Brand IQ will suggest optimal posting times based on when your audience is most active.

### Managing Scheduled Posts

#### View All Scheduled

* **Channels** → List View → Filter by "Scheduled"
* **Calendar** → See all scheduled posts visually

#### Edit a Scheduled Post

1. Find the post in Channels or Calendar
2. Click to open
3. Make your changes
4. Save

The scheduled time stays the same unless you change it.

#### Reschedule

1. Click the post
2. Click **Reschedule**
3. Pick a new date/time
4. Save

Or in Calendar: **drag and drop** to a new time slot.

#### Cancel a Scheduled Post

1. Click the post
2. Click **Move to drafts** or **Delete**
3. Confirm

### Remind Me Posts

For platforms or accounts that don't support auto-post:

1. Schedule your post with **Remind Me**
2. At the scheduled time, UNUM sends a push notification
3. Open the notification
4. UNUM opens with your post ready to go
5. Tap to copy your caption
6. Post manually in the native app

> ✨ **Pro tip:** Keep notifications enabled for UNUM so you don't miss your Remind Me alerts.

### Auto-Post Requirements

For auto-posting to work:

| Platform      | Requirements                                             |
| ------------- | -------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Instagram** | Business or Creator account, connected to Facebook Page  |
| **Facebook**  | Must be a Page (not personal profile), you must be admin |
| **TikTok**    | Reauthorize every 60 days                                |
| **LinkedIn**  | Profile or Company Page with admin access                |

### Troubleshooting

#### Post didn't auto-publish

* Check if your account is still connected (reconnect if needed)
* For TikTok: reauthorize if it's been 60+ days
* For Instagram: confirm it's a Business/Creator account

#### Didn't get Remind Me notification

* Check that UNUM notifications are enabled in your phone settings
* Make sure you're logged into the app
